Privacy Policy

LookCoach helps users understand and improve grooming, skincare, hair, posture, routine consistency, and presentation. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.

Data We Collect

We collect onboarding answers such as age range, goals, routine preferences, skincare usage, product ownership, and daily time commitment. The app may also store routine completion data, scan history metadata, XP/tier progress, notification preferences, and app settings.

Selfie photos are used for scan analysis. Photos remain on the user's device unless the user starts a scan. During analysis, an analysis copy is sent through our server proxy to the configured AI provider. We do not intentionally send photo bytes to analytics providers, and we do not sell personal data.

Face Data

LookCoach collects face data only when the user chooses to take or upload scan photos. This may include front and angled selfie photos and visual observations derived from those photos, such as photo quality, lighting, face positioning, skin clarity cues, hair and grooming cues, jawline/profile cues, posture/expression cues, appearance category scores, and personalized coaching recommendations. LookCoach does not use face data for identity verification, authentication, surveillance, advertising tracking, or identifying a person. The app does not create or store a biometric face template, faceprint, Face ID data, or other identifier that can be used to recognize a user across apps or services.

Face data is used to generate the user's appearance baseline, scan results, daily routine, product/routine recommendations, coaching messages, and progress comparisons when the user rescans. Scan photos are processed through our Cloudflare-hosted server proxy and OpenRouter/OpenAI-compatible AI model providers. We do not sell face data, and we do not intentionally send photo bytes to analytics or crash reporting providers.

Raw face photo data is not retained by LookCoach on our backend after the scan request completes. The temporary analysis copy exists only for the time needed to transmit the request, generate the AI result, and return the response. Raw scan photos may remain on the user's device until the user deletes app data or removes the app because they are part of the local scan experience.

Derived face observations and scan results, such as scores, timestamps, recommendations, and progress history, may be stored locally and may be stored in our backend database for account restore, baseline history, and progress tracking. These derived results are kept until the user deletes local app data or requests backend deletion. Backend deletion requests can be sent to will@bibleguidedaily.com.

How Data Is Used

We use app data to generate scan feedback, build daily routines, personalize coaching, show progress, process subscriptions, improve reliability, and understand aggregate app usage.

Where Data Is Stored

Most app data is stored locally on the device. Our Cloudflare Worker receives scan and coach requests, applies rate limits, forwards scan requests to OpenRouter/OpenAI-compatible AI model providers, and returns structured results. Server logs may contain metadata such as request type, status, device/user identifier, and timing. They are not intended to contain photos. Derived scan results may be stored in our backend database when cloud sync/restore is enabled, but raw scan photo files are not intentionally stored there after the scan request completes.

Third Parties

  • OpenRouter/OpenAI-compatible AI model providers through our server proxy: scan and coaching analysis using selected scan photos, onboarding answers, and scan context.
  • RevenueCat: subscription purchases, entitlement status, and restore purchases.
  • Apple: App Store purchases, subscription management, and refunds.
  • PostHog: product analytics such as onboarding progress, task completion, product link taps, and retention events.
  • Sentry: crash reports and diagnostics.
  • Cloudflare: API hosting, rate limiting, and request logs.

Data Deletion

Users can delete app-owned local data from Settings. This removes scan results, routine progress, XP, product ownership, preferences, and local personalization data from the device. Subscription records are managed by Apple and RevenueCat and are not deleted by this local action.
